Introduction to Ziguang photoelectric tube:< /span>

   When light hits the photocathode, the photocathode excites photoelectrons into the tube, These electrons move towards the anode under the action of the electric field, and ionize due to collision with the gas atoms in the tube  In the process of ionization, new electrons and photoelectrons are all received by the anode, but positive ions move in the opposite direction and are received by the cathode. Therefore, in the entire circuit, there is a photocurrent that is several times that of a vacuum phototube. The main application of UV phototubes is the photoelectric effect of metal and the multiplication effect of gas, which can well detect the ultraviolet radiation in the 185~290nm spectral range and generate photocurrent. It is not sensitive to radiation outside this spectral region, such as visible sunlight and indoor lighting sources. Therefore, it is not necessary to use a visible light shield like other semiconductor devices, so it is more convenient to use.

The ultraviolet phototube can detect weak ultraviolet radiation, and can be used in boiler oil, gas monitoring, and fire alarms. , The power system conducts lightning protection monitoring for unattended transformers, etc.

3. How to install UV photoelectric tube< /span>

The UV photoelectric tube and the system are generally connected by a tube socket (as shown in the figure below). If the connection is made by welding, please pay special attention to the welding temperature at the pins not to exceed 250℃, otherwise the glass bulb may explode and crack.

The glass protruding part (exhaust pipe) between the pins shall not be subjected to force or collision, so as to prevent the pipe from leaking and failing.

When inserting or pulling out the socket, force must be perpendicular to the socket, and do not break or twist. Cause damage.

Electrode connection method: Use the correct connection method to connect the UV phototube electrode, if the electrode connection is opposite, it may cause malfunction Or the signal is weak.

Four. Instructions for use of UV photocells:

The tube must be wiped clean before use, especially the top of the tube must not have oil, dust and other dirt sticking to it, otherwise it will Affect its performance.

The working voltage of the tube must not exceed the specified MAX working voltage, otherwise it may affect the working performance and life of the tube . The pins can be soldered, and the soldering temperature should not exceed250 Spend.

The working voltage must be stable, otherwise it is easy to cause the pipe parameter change or use failure.
